Founded in 2016, we have grown and tested our model steadily and are pleased to enjoy a large client and contractor base in Australia and New Zealand. And from our Australasian beginnings, we have recently expanded our operations as far afield as Canada and the UK.

Augment was formed from the meeting-of-minds of partners Len Blackmore and Dean Thompson. The business evolved with three key principles:

Our history

2015

Augment Resources business name registered.

2016

Having tested our model and steadily growing our client and contractor base our company Augment Resources Pty Ltd is officially incorporated.

2020

We expanded into the New Zealand market, incorporated Augment Resources (NZ) Ltd and appointing senior industry expert Mike Blanchard as our country Managing Director.

2021

Augment Resources expands its presence in Defence and Federal Government with Len Blackmore founding the Canberra office.

2022

Further expansion saw us incorporate Augment Resources (CA), Inc. in Canada initially aiming to support clients within British Columbia and Alberta.

2023

Augment Resources NZ appointed to the new All-Of-Government (AOG) Talent Acquisition Panel as a preferred provider for contract, permanent and temporary resources.
